Solgar® Bromelain 300 mg provides 1000 GDU digestive enzyme activity found in pineapples.
Enzymes are required by all living organisms to function properly and they exist in all life forms, including human, plants, bacteria and other organisms.

They are naturally occurring proteins with the function to speed up the rate of chemical reactions within cells. They are essential for life and assist a wide range of important functions within the body. Pineapple, is one of the richest sources of the enzyme Bromelain. This specific enzyme is derived from fresh pineapple and specially manufactured to ensure that all the nutritional and enzymatic properties of Bromelain remain intact.
 

RECOMMENDED DOSE Two (2) vegetable capsule daily, preferably at mealtimes or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Each vegetable capsule provides:

Bromelain (providing 1000 GDU* - from fresh pineapple) 150 mg

Non-Active Ingredients: Bulking Agents: maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, citric acid, Vegetable Capsule Shell: hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, Cross-Linked Cellulose Gum, Anti-caking Agent: silicon dioxide, Emulsifier: lecithin (from soya).

CAUTION: Do not take if there is a history of stomach or duodenal pain or history of ulcers.

Additional Information: Solgar® Bromelain is derived from fresh pineapple and is specially manufactured to ensure that all the nutritional and enzymatic properties of bromelain remain intact. Bromelain assists in the digestion of dietary protein.
